The Texas Longhorns return to the Moody Center on Wednesday Night for their second home game of the season, hosting the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights.

Texas Longhorns set to host Fairleigh Dickinson

The Longhorns enter the game with a 1-1 record, their one loss coming from the season opener against Duke, while winning their Home opener Saturday against Lafayette. Fairleigh Dickinson enters with a 0-2 record in a blowout loss to Iowa State, as well as a 10-point loss to Saint Peter's. This is only the second time in program history that these two teams have met up in Basketball, their first coming in 1975, when Texas won 63-59 in Austin.

Many may remember Fairleigh Dickinson for their 2023 March Madness upset, which was just the second time a #16 seed had upset the #1 seed in the tournament.

In the Longhorns' last game against Lafayette, six total Longhorns racked up double-digit scores in their 90-60 win. This improvement reflects the words of first-year coach Sean Miller, who stated, "We want to be a team that is getting better and better every time that you watch us play, we should look smoother." Expect the Longhorns to give good minutes around to the entire team.

Texas is currently favored to win with a 99% probability according to ESPN analytics. Texas is the betting favorite with a spread of 31.5 points.

Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. At the Moody Center. The game will be broadcast live on SEC Network+, also viewable on the ESPN app. Radio coverage will be provided by the Longhorn Radio Network.
