For a moment, the Louisville fanbase had a reason to be afraid.
Superstar freshman guard Mikel Brown Jr. Was down behind the play.
He had just missed a 3-pointer, fell with no contact and wasn’t getting up.
The referees whistled the play dead, and trainers came to check on him.
Louisville held a double-digit lead at the time of the injury, but the air was temporarily taken out of the building.

Mikel Brown Jr. Injury update
Brown was holding his lower leg.
But as the trainers looked at him, there were indications he was just cramping.
Brown was helped to the bench, where he sat and started hydrating.
It appears it could’ve been much worse but was probably a false alarm.
Brown had 20 points in the first half against the big rival, so the Cardinals would love to have him back on the floor.
A few minutes later, Brown moved back to the main part of Louisville’s bench, seemingly available to return.
Brown returned with a dozen minutes left and immediately attempted a 3. No worries.
