The Kansas Jayhawks are no stranger to the Final Four. Saturday against Villanova will mark their 16th appearance, placing them fifth among schools.
In fact, Duke and North Carolina comprise half of the four schools who have made more Final Fours than Kansas.

Key players on Bill Self's Final Four teams
2008: Brandon Rush was a key contributor for the 2008 Jayhawks against North Carolina, scoring 25 points and hauling in seven rebounds. Mario Chalmers was another major player for these Jayhawks, scoring 11 points. While Chalmers is more well-known for his NBA career, Rush was the bigger name for Kansas at the time. This roster spawned seven NBA players: Rush, Chalmers, Darrell Arthur, Darnell Jackson, Sherron Collins, Sasha Kaun, and Cole Aldrich.
2012: For the 2012 Jayhawks, Thomas Robinson was led the way over Ohio State, raking in 19 points and eight rebounds. He was one of three NBA players to come out of this squad, and was joined by Tyshaun Taylor and Jeff Withey.
2018: Kansas in 2018 couldn't keep up with Villanova, who gave Self his first Final Four loss as the Kansas coach. Devonte' Graham and Malik Newman were leaders the Jayhawks, scoring 23 and 21 points, respectively. but it ultimately wasn't enough.
