The Orlando Magic have had a great offseason.
So far, it's been highlighted by the trade to bring Desmond Bane to town from Memphis, which gives Orlando a big three of sorts with Bane, Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero.
On Friday morning, the Magic gave Moritz Wagner a new contract, another positive step.
And now? ESPN's Bobby Marks says the next order of business is obvious, via a post on X: Extend Paolo Banchero.
Banchero is eligible for a five-year, $239 million rookie max extension, writes Marks.
He'll get every penny of that max value.
Banchero, who turns 23 in November, has been as advertised after being the No. 1 overall pick in 2022 out of Duke.

He's coming off a season in which he averaged 25.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.
If there's one knock on Banchero, it's being a bit subpar as a 3-point shooter. But he's so good everywhere else that it doesn't even hold him back.
At 6-foot-10, 250 pounds, Banchero is a matchup nightmare everywhere on the floor.
The Magic will certainly pay their superstar everything he's worth, and his future is bright enough to lead Orlando to great heights.
