The trade shook the NBA world, but most people have since settled down. The aftermath is still occurring, however, with Cooper Flagg set to make his NBA preseason debut with Dallas.
The Duke phenom donned the Mavericks threads in Summer League, but this will be his first game with the top squad. Dallas will face off against the reigning champion Oklahoma City Thunder in its first preseason game.
Oklahoma City maintained its core led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren. Most of the role players stayed with the team, too, as they seek a second consecutive championship.
