Scoot Henderson got off to a fast start at the Las Vegas Summer League, but his debut game ended in painful fashion.
The Trail Blazers rookie was forced to leave his team's Friday night contest against the Rockets early after he suffered a right shoulder injury. Henderson had 15 points, six assists and five rebounds in Portland's 100-99 loss.
Now, basketball fans are wondering whether they will see a highly anticipated matchup between Henderson and Spurs forward Victor Wembanyama, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

The Trail Blazers announced that Henderson will miss their Summer League game against the Spurs on Sunday. He will be listed as day-to-day going forward.
It's unclear how Henderson injured his right shoulder against the Rockets. Bleacher Report's Chris Haynes initially reported that there was "optimism" Henderson didn't suffer a dislocation.
