The Nuggets open their 2023-24 season with a matchup against the Lakers in what will be a night of added celebration. 

After defeating the Heat in the 2023 NBA Finals, the Nuggets will receive their championship rings and raise their first banner in franchise history at Ball Arena. 

The pregame festivities will set the stage for what should be an entertaining matchup against LeBron James, Anthony Davis and co. — the team they swept in the Western Conference Finals en route to the title.

How many championships have the Nuggets won?

The Nuggets created history in 2023, not only winning the first championship in franchise history, but doing so in the franchise's first-ever trip to the NBA Finals. 

Prior to their championship run, the Nuggets had only made the Conference Finals on four occasions (2019-20, 2008-09, 1984-85, and 1977-78).

What channel is Nuggets vs. Lakers on?

The Nuggets' matchup with the Lakers on opening night of the 2023-24 NBA season will be broadcast on TNT in the United States. The game can be live-streamed on Watch TNT or Sling TV.
