Sometimes, it takes a retirement to realize just how good a player was.
That's the case with Bojan Bogdanovic, who used social media to announce his NBA retirement on Sunday.
Bogdanovic started his career with the Nets, and he ended it without playing a game in 2024-25 under his Brooklyn contract due to injury.
His last playing tenure came with the Knicks in 2023-24.
Remarkably, Bogdanovic averaged double-figure scoring in all but his first NBA season.
That was nine years in a row with 10 or more points per game.
His career scoring average was 15.6 points per game, and he was a career 39.4% 3-point shooter.
In three separate seasons, Bogdanovic averaged more than 20 a game.

He came to the NBA from Europe as the 31st overall pick in 2011 by the Heat. His debut didn't come until 2014 with the Nets.
He went on to play for the Wizards, Pacers, Jazz and Pistons in addition to the pair of New York City teams.

Now, the NBA will just remain with active guard Bogdan Bogdanovic. But Bojan is hanging up his high tops for the final time.
