The Milwaukee Bucks have decided to go all-in on trying to win a championship in 2025-26 to keep superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo happy, and one familiar face just became available to help make that happen.

The Washington Wizards appear to be shopping point guard Malcolm Brogdon for a potential sign-and-trade. Not many contending teams have enough cap space to sign Brogdon on their own at the salary he would likely require, so a sign-and-trade would be the most practical solution.

Brogdon started his career in Milwaukee, where he won the 2017 Rookie of the Year Award - becoming the first player to win it after being a second-round pick. He spent three seasons with the Bucks, most notably putting up a 50-40-90 stat line in 2018-19 before being sent to Indiana in a sign-and-trade in the 2019 off-season.

And now, the Bucks are reportedly interested in bringing him back. NBA Insider Jake Fischer listed the Bucks as a team who could be interested in Brodgon's services.

"League sources say that the Wizards are open to sign-and-trade discussions to facilitate Brogdon's exit and a slew of teams have registered varying levels of interest in the 32-year-old," Fischer wrote. "That list includes the Clippers, Suns and Lakers as well as the Warriors, Timberwolves, Pelicans, Kings and Bucks."

Brogdon would fill a pretty massive void for the Bucks at guard with Damian Lillard likely out for the year with a torn Achilles tendon. He has been often plagued by injuries of his own, but the 32-year-old could still provide a reliable veteran presence when healthy.
