Cavs' injury report tonight vs. Heat has 5 players listed as out image

The Cleveland Cavaliers get a rematch with the Miami Heat on Wednesday night.

The Heat just beat the Cavs on an alley-oop inbound play with just 0.4 seconds to pull it off in overtime on Monday.

If Cleveland is going to exact some revenge, it'll be in incredibly shorthanded fashion.

A couple Cavs stars are among the five Cleveland players already listed as out.

Cleveland Cavaliers injury report

The Cavs have listed five players as OUT in advance of Wednesday's Heat rematch:

  • Donovan Mitchell (Rest)
  • Evan Mobley (Rest)
  • Darius Garland (Toe)
  • Jaylon Tyson (Concussion)
  • Max Strus (Foot)

Strus has been an extended absence.

The Cavs clearly decided to go light all on the same night and allow their stars to rest.

Mitchell and Mobley could certainly use a night off, and Garland was recently dinged up.

Larry Nance Jr. Is listed as questionable as of Wednesday afternoon.

With all those players out, the likes of Lonzo Ball, Sam Merrill and De'Andre Hunterw ill be called upon to do a lot on the perimeter.

Inside, Jarrett Allen will have a bigger role than usual with Mobley out.

The Cavs have a lot of depth, but this is an absence list that may be hard to overcome.
