Kyle Busch will look to defend last year's Geico 500 victory at the iconic Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday. However, William Byron, who won the Daytona 500 two months ago, is one of the early favorites to win for Hendrick Motorsports.

Sunday's Geico 500 marks the 110th race hosted by Talladega in Cup Series history. Talladega Superspeedway is 2.66 miles long and is the largest oval track on the NASCAR schedule.

Another driver to watch is Denny Hamlin, who has earned two wins and five top-five finishes in his last nine races at Talladega. Brad Keselowski has the most Cup Series wins of any active driver at Talladega with six, and he will pose a formidable challenge Sunday.

Ryan Blaney was the winner in the track's fall race last season and is looking for a top-five finish. Joey Logano is a three-time winner at Talladega and could also claim another victory.

A dark horse is Erik Jones after finishing sixth at Talladega in three of the last four races. He also finished eighth in the Daytona 500.

Hendrick Motorsports has the most wins at Talladega with 14. Hall of Fame driver Dale Earnhardt has the most driver victories with 10 along with 23 top-five finishes.
