Seattle Mariners fans have been awaiting Harry Ford's arrival to the major leagues for years.
He was the 12th overall pick in 2021, and he's been a power-hitting, base-stealing catcher in the minors since his selection.
Now, he has been promoted to the majors as part of September roster expansion, and that's exciting for all sorts of baseball reasons.
It's also exciting for non-baseball reasons, and here are a couple.
Where is Harry Ford from?
Harry Ford is from the Atlanta, Georgia area. He went to North Cobb High School.
He has represented Great Britain on the international level, though, including in the 2023 World Baseball Classic. That's because both of Ford's parents were born there.
That makes Ford a British-American.

What is Harry Ford's full name?
Harry Ford's full name is Harrison Michael Ford.
And yes, that begs the question:
Is Harry Ford named after Harrison Ford?
Harry Ford answered this question in a Minor League Baseball official TikTok video in 2023.
"My parents said that they just liked the name and it had nothing to do with Harrison Ford," Ford said. "But I don't believe them. I feel like it's too obvious."
Harry didn't go by Harrison much growing up, so it's not a question that too many people had to ask.
"I liked it, because it compared me to someone famous," he said. "But I really never went by Harrison. Most people didn't know my name was Harrison anyway."
And when asked his preference between Indiana Jones and Star Wars, Ford had a one-word answer: "Indy."
