The video didn't take long to go viral.

Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Harrison Bader hit a home run to left field on Friday night. A bunch of fans scrambled for the baseball. A father got the ball and walked it over to his son.

But then, a woman came over, angry at the fact that she didn't end up with the baseball. It's not clear what was said, but it was animated, and in the end, the baseball was given to the woman rather than continue the argument.

Turns out, per Yahoo Sports, it was the boy's birthday.

Here's the original clip:

There's a bunch of positive that came afterward, though.

First, the Marlins sent out a gift bag for the boy to apologize for what happened.

Then after the game, Bader heard about what had happened, and he hooked the kid up, too.

Bader signed a bat for the birthday boy.

All's well that ends well.

This certainly won't be a birthday that youngster soon forgets.
