The internet is undefeated when it comes to viral moments, and the Philadelphia Phillies found themselves at the center of one last week.
During their game against the Miami Marlins, a fan was seen stealing a ball from a young kid and his father. There was a home run hit by Harrison Bader, when Lincoln Feltwell's father decided to run a few seats over and grab the ball.
After that, a woman came over and asked for the baseball back in a very demanding way. Instead of getting into it with a fan during the game, Drew Feltwell, the father, decided to give the baseball back.
What Did the Young Phillies Fan Say?
The Phillies and Marlins made things right by giving the kid a baseball, a signed bat, and much more. However, for a young fan like Lincoln, it certainly wasn't the situation he wanted to be in.
When speaking about it, he said he wasn't pleased to give it to her, but he just did what he had to do.
“Um, I wasn’t very happy that we had to give it to her, but we can’t win,” Lincoln told NBC10 Philadelphia.

Getting pressed by a random fan in the middle of a game isn't something that's expected when a home run ball is secured.
It was obvious in the video that Lincoln's father wasn't expecting to be approached by someone, but unfortunate things unfolded.
“I jumped out of my skin and I was like, you know, like ‘Why are you here?’ you know, ‘Go away.’ And she’s like, ‘That’s my ball! You stole out of – those are from our seats.’ And I said, ‘There was nobody in that seat,’ you know. She said, ‘That’s from where we were sitting,’ and she just went on and on.”
