We have a classic MLB rivalry in the American League Wild Card round.

The Yankees and the Red Sox, two of the most storied franchises in baseball, face off in a best-of-three series for a shot to move on in the MLB postseason.

This series has even more meaning for the history books, as the two sides are 12-12 all-time against each other in the postseason. Boston holds the series lead, though, 3-2, while New York leads the all-time series at 1,261-1,049-14.

This is a matchup of power hitting versus a good bullpen.

The Yankees have Aaron Judge, one of the greatest batters of all time, who is on the same level as Babe Ruth. The Red Sox, meanwhile, have pitchers Garrett Crochet and ex-Yankee pitcher Aroldis Chapman, among others, who can keep games more evenly matched.

Here is everything you need to know about Game 1 of the AL Wild Card between the Yankees and the Red Sox, including start time, TV channel, live stream and more.
