On Friday at LoanDepot Park, the action was more intense in the stands than on the field. After Philadelphia Phillies slugger Harrison Bader hit a home run in the fourth inning against the Miami Marlins, three people became the center of attention.
Father Drew Feltwell managed to find and secure the ball so that he could gift his son, Lincoln, ahead of his 10th birthday. However, a middle-aged white woman, who is now referred to as "Phillies Karen," played spoiled sport and snatched the ball away from the young kid's father.
The incident has since gone viral. While the father and son have been identified, the search for the Phillies Karen continues.
In the meantime, Feltwell has shared details about the disappointing experience.

What did Phillies Karen say?
Drew Feltwell sat down for an interview with Fox Sports on Monday, where he shared about the "vulgar" screams from Phillies Karen to take away the ball from his son.
"I can’t even repeat that on air. She was very vulgar," he said. "Screaming right in my ear that, you know, lotta bad words and, ‘That’s my ball.’ That was her section and trying to tell me she had the right to that ball.
"The screaming and yelling kinda got to us and I just wanted her to go away. So, that’s how she got the ball."
Feltwell was faced with a choice, and he reacted maturely. Instead of getting into an unnecessary confrontation, he decided to give up the ball to "Phillies Karen."
"It was tough giving the ball back, but it ended that situation," Feltwell said. "I hope that ball meant a lot to her."
The father also said that while he would love to get that ball back for his son, he wishes no ill for the woman.
"But I don’t want anything bad to happen to her. Our evening worked out quite well afterward," he added.
The Feltwell family has received overwhelming support from the internet. The Phillies and the Marlins have also made fine gestures to make up to the son. Bader gifted him an autographed bat while the Marlins handed him baseball goodies.
