The road ends here.

After a week in Greenville, N.C., one team will leave as champions while the others will wonder what could've been. This year's Little League Softball World Series final game features a battle that's seemingly gone on since the beginning of time.

It's north vs. south, New York vs. North Carolina.

As residents of the Empire State flock to the Tar Heel State, it only makes sense that they'll battle for softball supremacy on the dirt diamond at Stallings Stadium.

New York's team features Massapequa International Little League, while North Carolina's representative is Pitt County Girls Softball Little League. For the latter, they'll have the chance to win the tournament in a place that's about 15 minutes away from their homes.

North Carolina had to knock off the defending champions on Saturday from Midway Little League in Texas, a team that's historically dominated the LLSWS. If New York can claim victory, it'll be the first LLSWS champion from the state. No matter what, that sets up a great final matchup to what has been a fun week in Greenville.
