NL Central rivals meet in Game 1 of the NLDS on Saturday afternoon, with the Brewers hosting the Cubs to begin the contentious best-of-five series.

Milwaukee overtook Chicago to run away with the division title, buoyed by a mid-summer surge. But now, it's the Cubs riding a bit of momentum with a shot at redemption.

Chicago just won its first postseason series since 2017, vanquishing the Padres in a best-of-three Wild Card Series showdown. Pete Crow-Armstrong (three hits) and Michael Busch (solo HR) fueled the offense in the decisive Game 3, while six Cubs pitchers combined to allow just one run.

Meanwhile, the Brewers earned the luxury of a first-round bye after winning 97 games and touting the best record in baseball for the first time since 1982. In Game 1, the Brewers will turn to right-hander Freddy Peralta, who won 17 games with a 2.70 ERA in the regular season.

The Cubs took the season series from the Brewers, 7-6. These two teams are certainly familiar with one another, with Cubs manager Craig Counsell having previously managed the Brewers for nine years.

Here's everything that you need to know about watching Game 1 of the NLDS between the Brewers and Cubs, including TV and streaming options.
