After eliminating the Red Sox in the AL Wild Card Series, the Yankees earned the right to stamp their passports for a trip to Toronto for Game 1 of the ALDS on Saturday afternoon.

They'll face a high-flying Blue Jays team primed for their first postseason appearance since 2023, and eyeing their first playoff victory since 2016.

The two AL East foes finished the regular season sporting identical 94-68 records. But Toronto won the division title by way of a tiebreaker, having gone 8-5 in head-to-head meetings with New York.

The Blue Jays return to the playoffs with plenty of firepower, buoyed by a rejuvenated George Springer (.959 OPS) and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (.848 OPS). They will hand the ball to veteran right-hander Kevin Gausman in Game 1.

The Yankees found themselves on the brink after dropping Game 1 of the best-of-three Wild Card Series at home. But New York pulled off consecutive victories to extend its season, fueled by a 12-strikeout gem from rookie right-hander Cam Schlittler in Game 3. A lineup led by Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton is as dangerous as any unit in October.

Here's everything that you need to know about watching Game 1 of the ALDS between the Blue Jays and Yankees, including TV and streaming information.
