Down to one day left in the Major League Baseball regular season. With the one day on Sunday, and all the games set for the same hour, there will be plenty of drama.
The lone matchup set for the postseason is the Chicago Cubs hosting the San Diego Padres in the National League wildcard round.
The Cubs are 91-70 heading into the final day, while the Padres started Saturday 88-72.

The Milwaukee Brewers have locked up the top seed, and will take the first round off. The Philadelphia Phillies fell 5-0 to the Minnesota Twins on Saturday, and will be the No. 2, and also have the first round off.
The second matchup will feature the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers. But, who they play is the question. The Dodgers are 91-69 heading into the Saturday night affair.
They will host either the Cincinnati Reds or the New York Mets. The Mets won on Saturday and are now 83-78, the Reds were winning 6-2 in the fifth inning, which would make them 83-78. Cincinnati owns the tiebreaker. Therefore, a Reds win or a Mets loss, and the Reds are in, and will start in Los Angeles. A Mets win and a Reds loss, and it will be New York heading to Los Angeles.
In the American League, the Seattle Mariners are the No. 2 seed. They start Saturday night with a 90-70 record. They are behind the New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays. Both teams won on Saturday, and are both 93-68. The winner of the division will be the top seed in the American League, and have the first round off. The loser of the division is the No. 4 seed and will host the Boston Red Sox in the first round. Boston is 88-73 heading into the final day of the season.
The Detroit Tigers are in at 87-74.
Houston starts Saturday night at 85-75. Cleveland is in action on Saturday night at 86-74. The Astros will need to win Saturday night and Sunday, and look for Cleveland to lose late Saturday and on Sunday.
Therefore, heading into the late games Saturday and Sunday, there are three teams for two spots, and one will get left out. The American League Central winner will get the final wildcard, so there is a good chance it will be Detroit and Cleveland meeting again.
