Ever since debuting with the New York Yankees in September 2023 as one of the top prospects in the entire major leagues, Dominguez has shown that he deserves to be on a major league roster, only for injuries to catch up to him throughout his first couple of seasons.

After hitting four home runs in his first eight career games, Dominguez tore his UCL and was forced to undergo Tommy John surgery, and now in 2025, he became the youngest Yankees player to have a three-homer game and would later hit his first major league walk-off homer against the Texas Rangers, both in May.

Dominguez may not be on the starting chart every day, but he seems to still stay positive with it all, and Cody Bellinger is all for it.

"It's Really Special, Especially For Such a Young Kid"

In a talk with Brendan Kuty of The Athletic, the 2019 NL MVP was very vocal about how much he enjoyed his younger teammate's attitude.

"It really is amazing," Bellinger said. "Just his attitude. The way he carries himself. It really is special, especially for such a young kid. He's a treat to have in the locker room. Great energy. Really, really good baseball player. To come and do what he did today, it's not easy. Super happy for him. He helped us win with that stolen base at the end. Just really fun to watch."

In the 119 games that Dominguez has seen the field during the 2025 season, he's batted .257 with 10 home runs and 47 RBI.
