The free agent market is heating up, and Cody Bellinger's name could soon be the center of attention.
The free agent slugger from the New York Yankees is one of the few best bats on the market, and there's at least one less star out there after Kyle Schwarber re-signed with the Phillies on Tuesday morning.
Bellinger is in the running to return to the Bronx, yes, but he's believed to have ample interest from suitors.
His agent, Scott Boras, revealed this in a creative way on Tuesday.
The Athletic's Chris Kirschner shared Boras' answer in a post on X that helps us out with proper capitalization and spelling:
"It's not for me to Judge. Great players see Red. If they have a big bat Yanked out of their lineup. I haven't Met a team that Dodges a five-tool player to Phil the center field need is a Giant step toward the playoffs. North and South. Outfielders that fly with power, they're rare birds. There's a lot of Angel investors that are looking for versatile outfielders. Other than that, Belli doesn't have much interest."

A few of those are very clear, and a few leave a little room for interpretation.
But what is clear is that a lot of teams are in on Bellinger. With Boras as his agent, these negotiations could take a while.
Bellinger is also viewed by some as a backup plan to Kyle Tucker, the top free agent available. So there's a chance Bellinger doesn't sign until after Tucker, leaving the teams that missed out on Tucker the chance to have a bidding war for Bellinger.
Certainly seems like there'll be plenty of bids put in for the talented, versatile Bellinger.
