NBA All-Star Tyrese Haliburton was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, about an hour away from Milwaukee. So naturally, the Indiana Pacers guard grew up as a fan of the Milwaukee Brewers

Haliburton was asked to throw out the first pitch in Milwaukee back in 2024. However, that did not come to fruition after he and the Pacers eliminated the Milwaukee Bucks during last year's postseason.

That lit a fire under Haliburton, who felt he was wronged. Ever since then, he has considered himself a "free agent" when it comes to who he roots for during the MLB season, via the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Drake Bentley

"Baseball, I'm a free agent," said Haliburton. "I was a Brewers fan and then I was supposed to throw the first pitch last summer and then they X'd that after the playoffs ended. So I said, you know what, I'm no longer a Brewers fan."

While Haliburton is a free agent when it comes to his baseball fandom, he may be a fan of whoever is playing the Brewers. He was spotted wearing a Chicago Cubs jersey on Saturday, and on Monday, he was spotted wearing a Los Angeles Dodgers jersey, via Hoops.

To Haliburton's excitement, the Dodgers bested the Brewers in their home ballpark on Monday. It was an exciting game that came down to the last pitch with the bases loaded, with Blake Treinen striking out Brice Turang to win the game 2-1.
