The Chicago Cubs are having one of the best seasons in Major League Baseball, sitting with a winning record of 45-28.
One of the reasons why the Cubs have been so good this year is because of outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong, who launched his 19th home run in a 5-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday night.
Crow-Armstrong's 19 home runs this season are the seventh most among all players, and with the MLB Home Run Derby only a month away, there have been many wondering if the 23-year-old outfielder would compete.
According to ESPN's Jesse Rogers, Crow-Armstrong will pass on this year's derby.
"No, that's not for me," Crow-Armstrong said."

It's probably a smart move for Crow-Armstrong to pass on the derby and focus on the Cubs this season.
There have been many times when some of the best hitters in baseball enter the Home Run Derby and then ruin their swing for the second half of the season since they change something about it during the derby.
The Cubs have several primary goals this season, and if something happens to Crow-Armstrong's swing, the team will no longer be able to achieve any of their desired objectives.
