The Chicago Cubs haven't been here in a while.
The setup: They've got two outfielders starting in the All-Star Game, Kyle Tucker and Pete Crow-Armstrong.
The last time that happened for the Cubbies: 1936.
The dastardly duo back then was Augie Galan and Frank Demaree.
Those guys didn't quite age as household names, did they?
Tucker has been a massive addition from the offseason, while PCA has grown into a superstar in his first full season in Chicago after a bumpy MLB debut season in 2024.

Clearly, it's tough to get two outfielders starting in an All-Star Game. There are only three spots.
Tucker and Crow-Armstrong are slated to be joined by Ronald Acuña Jr. of the Atlanta Braves.
That's a high-powered outfield.
A quick look back at the 1936 NL All-Star Game lineup is pretty fun. The NL featured starters named Ripper Collins, Gabby Hartnett, Pinky Whitney and the legendary Dizzy Dean.
Amazingly, there was a Pinky (Higgins) in the AL starting lineup that year, too.
Baseball is the best.
