This past offseason, the Boston Red Sox went all out on upgrading their starting pitching by trading for Chicago White Sox ace Garrett Crochet.
Boston didn't stop at adding Crochet to the rotation and also added Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Walker Buehler.
Buehler signed a one-year, $21 million contract, and since he isn't signed for the long term, he could be traded this July.
Kiley McDaniel and Jeff Passan from ESPN believe Buehler could be a perfect fit to return to the Dodgers this summer.
"If the Red Sox do punt on this year, Buehler will have plenty of suitors in spite of his mediocre numbers this season," McDaniel and Passan wrote. "His postseason bona fides are obvious, and his sinker and slider have both played this season despite his fastball and curveball getting tagged. Starter, reliever, whatever: October is Buehler's time. Best fits: Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, Houston, Toronto, San Diego."

Buehler made two All-Star games and won two World Series with the Dodgers and even recorded the last three outs in the Dodger's World Series victory over the New York Yankees last season.
A return to Los Angeles for Buehler could be a good thing for the 30-year-old pitcher to get his game back on track.
