The 50th Walker Cup Match returns to American soil at the famed Cypress Point Club in Pebble Beach, California.
The course measures 6,620 yards with a par of 70, providing a stern test for the world’s top amateur golfers.
Male amateurs from the United States will face counterparts from Great Britain and Ireland in a 10-on-10 match. Nathan Smith leads the USA team as captain, while Dean Robertson guides the GB&I side.
The United States holds a commanding series lead of 39-9-1. Each day of competition begins with four alternate-shot foursomes matches, followed by eight singles on Saturday and 10 on Sunday.
