The 61st edition of the Masters Par 3 Contest will be played this year, as one of the more lighthearted golf traditions continues in 2023.

Last year marked the first time the short course at Augusta was played at the Masters since 2019, with Mackenzie Hughes and 2003 Masters winner Mike Weir winning at 4-under on the par-27 course.

Weir became the 12th player to win the Par 3 Contest and the Masters with his victory, joining the likes of Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson and Vijay Singh.
