The iconic Baku City Circuit will play host to the Formula 1 season's 17th race, the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, on Sunday.
Reigning F1 champion Max Verstappen roared back to form by winning the Italian GP earlier this month. The Dutch driver is the only one who has somewhat taken the battle to McLaren this season. With 12 wins from 16 races so far, the papaya outfit has dominated competition and piled a hefty 337-point lead in the team standings.
McLaren's Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, meanwhile, lead the driver standings as well. Piastri arrives in Baku as the defending champion, and sits atop the leaderboard with 324 points.
