The race to the championships is heating up as the 2025 Formula 1 season heads to Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez for the Mexican Grand Prix on Sunday.
Max Verstappen has closed the gap on Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris in the drivers' standings by winning three of the last four GPs. At the United States GP last week, he pipped McLaren's Norris and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc to the finish line.
The Dutchman is third on the leaderboard, 40 points behind Piastri (346 points), and still in with a chance, however slim, to defend his crown. Meanwhile, Norris trails McLaren teammate Piastri by 14 points. Verstappen also has form in the final stretch of the season, and enters the Mexican GP as a five-time champion.
The 2025 Mexican Grand Prix race is finally here and for all your time, TV and streaming details, look no further than AllSportsPeople for a full guide.
