The 2025 Formula 1 season heads eastwards this weekend for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which will be held at the iconic Baku City Circuit.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen paused McLaren domination with a well-deserved victory at the Italian GP. It was only Verstappen's third race win of the season, and the first since victory at Emilia Romagna GP in May.
Oscar Piastri comes into this year's Azerbaijan Grand Prix as the defending champion and leads the driver standings with 324 points. While the Australian has won season-leading seven races, his teammate Lando Norris has won five and is a close second with 293 points.
McLaren, with 12 wins in 16 races so far this season, is at 617 points in team standings and has opened up a 337-point lead over second-placed Ferrari.
