Week 6 Fantasy PPR Rankings: RB

It's always difficult to figure out how to handle traditional "receiving backs" who suddenly find themselves getting a significant amount of overall touches. Phillip Lindsay and Dion Lewis have basically been their teams' RB1s all season, and James White has produced that way, as well. For our Week 6 fantasy RB PPR rankings, several more of these types, including Nyheim Hines, Buck Allen, and Tarik Cohen, have either broken through or seem on the verge of breaking through into that group, and all are fairly easy start 'em, sit 'em calls.

But how high should they be ranked? As much as we think they're suddenly primed for more touches, they're still sharing their respective backfields. Hines is the closest to being a "feature back," but his status might be threatened by the expected return of Marlon Mack (hamstring). Cohen has had one good week, while Allen, despite playing more snaps than Alex Collins last week, saw four fewer carries. 

Week 6 Standard Rankings:
Quarterback | Running Back | Wide Receiver | Tight End | D/ST | Kicker

For PPR purposes, all three are worth starting, at least as flexes. Cohen is the biggest question mark, but a very favorable matchup against a Dolphins defense that has been torched by receiving backs (Lewis, White, and Bilal Powell all had 80-plus yards and a score against them) still gives him plenty of value.

Some possibly underrated plays include new Eagles starter(s) Wendell Smallwood and/or Corey Clement (@ NYG), Alfred Morris as the only game in town in San Francisco (@ GB), and Tevin Coleman in a favorable matchup in which both he and Devonta Freeman can excel (vs. TB). Whoever starts for the Bucs (@ ATL) and Texans (vs. BUF) could also have a good amount of value given the matchups, so pay attention for updates closer to Sunday.
