Today's Daily Fantasy Baseball Rankings: Best starting pitchers, streamers for Thursday, May 30 image

With only 10 games on Thursday -- three in the afternoon, seven on the main site -- the options are obviously limited in MLB DFS contests, but our pitcher rankings are still fairly strong. There's one obvious sleeper like there was with Pablo Lopez (who was owned in close to half of of DraftKings contests), but if you want to be a little different in GPPs, you'll have to work a little harder and either pay up for one of the few aces or take a bigger risk.

That obvious sleeper is Yusei Kikuchi (vs. Angels), who's priced down despite decent numbers and a favorable matchup on paper. To be fair, we thought Kevin Gausman has a similarly good matchup last night and he lasted all of one inning, so when a team is good against righties or lefties and bad against the other, they're more dangerous than your standard bad offense.

Our top four is a pretty loaded group who can work in any lineup. Charlie Morton (vs. Twins) is obviously a potential fade because of the matchup, but he also offers a lot of potential reward. Felix Pena (@ Mariners) is in a similar, but his affordable price will likely make him a popular sleeper tonight.

Brewers-Pirates and Red Sox-Yankees could have weather issue tonight, so make sure you check the Fantasy Alarm Weather Center closer to lineup lock.

wRC+ is defined by Fangraphs as "[measuring] how a player’s wRC compares with league average after controlling for park effects. League average for position players is 100, and every point above 100 is a percentage point above league average. For example, a 125 wRC+ means a player created 25% more runs than a league average hitter would have in the same number of plate appearances. Similarly, every point below 100 is a percentage point below league average, so a 80 wRC+ means a player created 20% fewer runs than league average." For more on the stat, click here .
