Welcome to the Week 14 edition of fantasy football starts and sits from AllSportsPeople.

"The Decider" is your one-stop shop for fantasy start/sit lineup advice in 2025 -- a unique mashup of rankings and matchup breakdowns to help you make those tough decisions on whom to play and not to play:

  • There are several high-drafted fantasy players who should be in lineups every week when they're active. Those are the "regular starts."
  • For those borderline options with favorable matchups, they are "stronger starts," while the recommended sits are "weaker starts."
  • We're also basing our advice on 12-team, half-point PPR to split the difference between shallow and deep leagues and full-PPR and standard formats.

Going beyond the redraft league starts and sits, "The Decider" also includes some DFS picks for different styles of daily fantasy sports games on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Keep scrolling for how to put the best fantasy football lineups on "the field" for your critical Week 14 game with tips on starts and sits this week.

Fantasy Football Week 14 Start 'Em: Quarterbacks

Must-start Week 14 QBs

  1. Josh Allen, Bills (vs. CIN)
  2. Dak Prescott, Cowboys (at DET)
  3. Jalen Hurts, Eagles (at LAC)
  4. Jared Goff, Lions (vs. DAL)
  5. Matthew Stafford, Rams (at ARI)
  6. Joe Burrow, Bengals (at BUF)

Strong Week 14 QB starts

7. Jordan Love, Packers (vs. CHI): Love is back on a hot streak after lighting up the Lions and will keep it up against the beatable Bears secondary downfield.

8. Daniel Jones, Colts (at JAX): Jones came through in a tougher spot vs. The Texans and the Jaguars create favorable matchups for his key targets.

9. Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars (vs. IND): Lawrence is also on a heater and is in for a high-scoring duel with Jones at home.

10. Bo Nix, Broncos (at LV): Nix underwhelmed even with overtime in Washington but he tends to rip the Raiders.

11. Jayden Daniels, Commanders (if he returns, at MIN): They are hopeful he can return for their last-gasp playoff push and he can pick up where backup Marcus Mariota left off on Monday night.

12. Justin Herbert, Chargers (vs. PHI): He's planning to play through his hand injury but fade him a bit against the Eagles' pass defense, even at home.

DFS QB Week 14 pick

  • Jordan Love, Packers (vs. CHI, $5,900 on DraftKings, $7,400 on FanDuel): Love is at a nice price going after the Bears with the division title in sight for Green Bay. He will need to air it out often much like Jalen Hurts and also use his legs well.

Fantasy Football Week 14 Sit 'Em: Quarterbacks

Weaker Week 14 QB plays

13. Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs (vs. HOU): It's difficult to trust any QBs against the Texans defense so he has a limited ceiling and a medium floor.

14. Lamar Jackson, Ravens (vs. PIT): You can't really feel great about this in shallow leagues given his three-game slump, and the Steelers aren't exactly a get-well QB spot.

15. Baker Mayfield, Buccaneers (vs. NO): He underwhelmed through his shoulder injury last week and wasn't needed to do much in the first Saints matchup.

16. Jacoby Brissett, Cardinals (vs. LAR): It's a tempting stream based on what Bryce Young did, but it also comes with a feeling of major potential bust.

17. Sam Darnold, Seahawks (at ATL): He was terrible in the shutout win last week and the Falcons D can give him just enough problems with the running game being the bigger factor on the road.

18. Caleb Williams, Bears (at GB): You can't go here with the run-first, run-heavy nature putting the team in a groove under Ben Johnson late.

Fantasy Football Week 14 Start 'Em: Running backs

Must-start Week 14 RBs

  1. James Cook, Bills (vs. CIN)
  2. Jahmyr Gibbs, Lions (vs. DAL)
  3. Bijan Robinson, Falcons (vs. SEA)
  4. Jonathan Taylor, Colts (at JAX)
  5. De'Von Achane, Dolphins (at NYJ)
  6. Chase Brown, Bengals (at BUF)
  7. Quinshon Judkins, Browns (vs. TEN)
  8. Bucky Irving, Buccaneers (vs. NO)
  9. Josh Jacobs, Packers (vs. CHI)
  10. Kyren Williams, Rams (at ARI)
  11. Derrick Henry, Ravens (vs. PiT)
  12. Javonte Williams, Cowboys (at DET)
  13. Jaylen Warren, Steelers (vs. BUF)
  14. Ashton Jeanty, Raiders (vs. DEN)
  15. RJ Harvey, Broncos (at LV)
  16. Kimani Vidal or Omarion Hampton, Chargers (if he returns, vs. PHI)
  17. Breece Hall, Jets (vs. MIA)
  18. Saquon Barkley, Eagles (at LAC)
  19. Zach Charbonnet, Seahawks (at ATL)
  20. Kenneth Walker III, Seahawks (at ATL)

Strong RB Week 14 plays

21. Travis Etienne Jr. Jaguars (vs. IND): He disappointed big-time against the Titans but should rebound with something like 80 yards and a TD.

22. D'Andre Swift, Bears (at GB): He got out of Johnson's doghouse and dominated back in Philadelphia, keeping him as an RB2 play.

23. Jordan Mason, Vikings (vs. WAS): Aaron Jones is hurt again and you can run well and score on the ground against the Commanders.

24. David Montgomery, Lions (vs. DAL): He got on track with a TD and some high-leverage touches vs. The Packers and this is a "start 'em if you got 'em" game for the offensive principals.

25. Chris Rodriguez Jr. Commanders (at MIN): "Bill" has been squashed with Rodriguez emerging as the power back of choice late.

26. Kyle Monangai, Bears (at GB): He is worthy of a Monty-like FLEX with his steady role complementing Swift.

DFS RB Week 14 Picks

  • James Cook, Bills (vs. CIN, $7,800 on DraftKings, $9,300 on FanDuel): Cook has been on fire and now gets the best matchup possible for a fantasy running back in 2025, so yeah, he can get 3X-4X return even at those prices.
  • Chase Brown, Bengals (at BUF, $6,700 on DraftKings, $7,300 on FanDuel): Brown is looking great of late and now with Burrow back he will be busy from scrimmage against a weak Bills run defense.

Fantasy Football Week 14 Sit 'Em: Running backs

Weaker RB Week 14 plays

27. Kareem Hunt, Chiefs (vs. HOU): This doesn't feel as good with Isiah Pacheco back in the mix and the Texans just slowing Taylor.

28. Kenneth Gainwell, Steelers (at BAL): This grinding type won't support two Steelers backfield plays.

29. Devin Neal, Saints (at TB): His volume is fine but the production is still very underwhelming as both a runner and receiver.

30. Tony Pollard, Titans (at CLE): The Titans may not score at all in Cleveland.

31. Nick Chubb, Texans (at KC): The former Browns back looked good against the Colts but the Chiefs will contain him.

32. Bam Knight, Cardinals (vs. LAR): He goes back to being plain old Zonovan in this matchup.

Fantasy Football Week 14 Start 'Em: Wide receivers

Must-start Week 14 WRs

  1. CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys (at DET)
  2. George Pickens, Cowboys (at DET)
  3. Jameson Williams, Lions (vs. DAL)
  4. Ja'Marr Chase, Bengals (at BUF)
  5. Puka Nacua, Rams (at ARI)
  6. Davante Adams, Rams (at ARI)
  7. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seahawks (at ATL)
  8. Rashee Rice, Chiefs (vs. HOU)
  9. A.J. Brown, Eagles (at LAC)
  10. Nico Collins, Texans (at KC)
  11. Tee Higgins, Bengals (at BUF)
  12. Courtland Sutton, Broncos (at LV)
  13. Christian Watson, Packers (vs. CHI)
  14. Rome Odunze, Bears (at GB)
  15. Ladd McConkey, Chargers (vs. PHI)
  16. Chris Olave, Saints (at TB)
  17. Marvin Harrison Jr., Cardinals (if he plays, vs. LAR)
  18. Jaylen Waddle, Dolphins (at NYJ)
  19. Justin Jefferson, Vikings (vs. WAS)
  20. Terry McLaurin, Commanders (at MIN)
  21. DeVonta Smith, Eagles (at LAC)
  22. Michael Pittman Jr., Colts (vs. HOU)
  23. Deebo Samuel, Commanders (at MiN)

Strong WR Week 14 starts

24. DK Metcalf, Steelers (at BAL): He's done nothing for weeks, but here's some hope against an opponent that gives up plenty to No. 1's.

25. Jakobi Meyers and 26. Brian Thomas Jr., Jaguars (vs. IND): Parker Washington becomes the odd man out here with Lawrence's new duo making a big impact in a high-scoring game.

27. Alec Pierce, Colts (at JAX): He is feeling it with Jones as a downfield threat of late and the Jags can't cover him well.

28. Troy Franklin, Broncos (at LV): He is always in the mix as a No. 2, and the Raiders struggle with speedy dudes outside.

29. Quentin Johnston, Chargers (vs. PHI): The Eagles also struggle with speedy dudes outside.

30. Chris Godwin, Buccaneers (vs. NO): He's been back to become the top target in what's morphing into a run-heavier attack.

31. Jayden Higgins, Texans (at KC): He is worth a shot given the Chiefs can give it up to No. 2s', too.

DFS WR Week 14 picks

  • Christian Watson, Packers (vs. CHI, $5,200 on DraftKings, $6,200 on FanDuel): The Bears have trouble with big strong, speedy receivers with red zone pop and Watson is the ideal receiver to use against them often.
  • Rome Odunze, Bears (at GB, $5,700 on DraftKings, $6,500 on FanDuel): He has been quiet of late with other receivers getting love from Williams butt he has the best matchup on the other side in Green Bay.
  • Alec Pierce, Colts (at JAX, $5,100 on DraftKings, $6,000 on FanDuel): He's super cheap and his big-play nature gives him a good shot for 3X-4X in tournament play.

Fantasy Football Week 14 Sit 'Em: Wide receivers

Weaker Week 14 WR plays

32. Emeka Egbuka, Buccaneers (vs. NO): The rookie has lost his Mayfield mojo and the Saints are trickier than you think on wideouts.

33. Zay Flowers, Ravens (vs. PIT): He's been meh all season and he's just not worth a play in a critical week.

34. Romeo Doubs, Packers (vs. CHI): This is more of a Watson game than a Doubs or Dontayvion Wicks game.

35. Xavier Worthy, Chiefs (vs. HOU): He's not worthy to start against the Texans' cornerbacks behind Rice.

36. Darnell Mooney, Falcons (vs. SEA): He did nothing in a real start with Kirk Cousins so no, not here.

37. Khalil Shakir, Bills (vs. CIN): The Bengals give it up more to tight ends than receivers inside.

38. D.J. Moore, Bears (at GB): His random involvement of late is annoying but this is an Odunze game for sure.

39. Jordan Addison, Vikings (vs. WAS): The matchup is favorable enough for Jefferson to have his best game in weeks but you can't trust two Vikings wideouts.

↕️ Fantasy Rankings - Week 14: QB | RB | WR | TE | D/ST | PK | Flex

Fantasy Football Week 14 Start 'Em: Tight ends

Must-start Week 14 TEs

  1. Brock Bowers, Raiders (vs. DEN)
  2. Trey McBride, Cardinals (vs. LAR)
  3. Tyler Warren, Colts (at JAX)
  4. Dalton Kincaid, Bills (if he returns, vs. CIN)
  5. Travis Kelce, Chiefs (vs. HOU)
  6. Jake Ferguson, Cowboys (at DET)
  7. Kyle Pitts, Falcons (vs. SEA)

Stronger Week 14 TE starts

8. Harold Fannin Jr., Browns (vs. TEN): He's been huge of late as Shedeur Sanders' top downfield target and he scores with 60 yards on the Titans.

9. Dalton Schultz, Texans (at KC): He'll be busy with Higgins away from Collins.

10. Darren Waller, Dolphins (at NYJ): He scored multiple times on them in the first meeting.

11. Brenton Strange, Jaguars (vs. IND): This is more of a wide receiver game with no Sauce for Indy.

12. Zach Ertz, Commanders (vs. MIN): He's getting all the key targets with McLaurin and Samuel again and Daniels' potential return helps.

13. T.J. Hockenson, Vikings (vs. WAS): This is actually an OK spot for him with his decent targets in Seattle, so he should be the second-best receiver after Jettas.

14. Isaiah Likely, Ravens (vs. PIT): It's about time they used him more and the Steelers can be burned by the tight end downfield.

DFS TE Week 14 pick

  • Harold Fannin Jr., Browns (vs. TEN, $3,700 on DraftKings, $5,300 on FanDuel): Fannin is a keeper in the offensive weaponry along with Judkins and Dylan Sampson. Sanders will feed him well in another good home matchup.

Fantasy Football Week 14 Sit 'Em: Tight ends

Weaker TE Week 14 starts

15. Mark Andrews, Ravens (at PIT): You can't go there with inept recent results and Likely rising.

16. Oronde Gadsden II, Chargers (vs. PHI): The Eagles are nasty in covering the tight end and this rookie has cooled.

17. Colston Loveland, Bears (at GB): This other rookie also has been quiet of late and the Packers keep getting better vs. The position.

18. Juwan Johnson, Saints (at TB): He got volume but still underwhelmed vs. The Dolphins.

19. Dallas Goedert, Eagles (at LAC): The revving up of Brown and Smith for Hurts says no.

20. Evan Engram, Broncos (at LV): He had a big play to save his night in Washington but he won't be needed much here.

21. Cade Otton, Buccaneers (vs. NO): He whiffed with a big chance vs. The Cardinals so you can't go here in a tougher matchup.

  1. Cleveland Browns (vs. TEN)
  2. Denver Broncos (at LV)
  3. Seattle Seahawks (at ATL)
  4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (vs. NO)
  5. Los Angeles Rams (at ARI)
  6. Houston Texans (at KC)
  7. Buffalo Bills (vs. CIN)
  8. Miami Dolphins (at NYJ)
  9. Washington Commanders (at MIN)
  10. Pittsburgh Steelers (at BAL)
  11. Baltimore Ravens (vs. PIT)
  12. Kansas City Chiefs (vs. HOU)
  13. Philadelphia Eagles (at LAC)
  14. Green Bay Packers (vs. CHI)

DFS Week 14 D/ST pick

  • Pittsburgh Steelers (at BAL, $2,600 on DraftKings, $3,600 on FanDuel): Jackson has been a turnover machine of late and there's nothing too scary about this offense or line to think their won't be sacks and takeaways in a big Steelers defensive rebound.
