Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season turned into another scoring bonanza, with a bunch of games going well over their projected totals and Cowboys-Packers becoming the highest-scoring tie in NFL history. We're not playing for ties in our DFS tournaments, though — we're going for grand prizes.
The best way to make cash in daily fantasy: target the sleepers and value picks. That's where this column comes in — we scour the DFS player pools, pinpoint the most overlooked and undervalued names from Sunday's main slate, and serve them up for you on a proverbial platter.
If you can't find the best deals, you probably won't win big prizes. Let us do the research for you — we'll highlight the best players at every position on DraftKings and FanDuel, so you can create an optimal lineup and cash in on Sunday.

Best NFL DFS sleepers for Week 5: Quarterback
Justin Herbert, Chargers vs. Commanders (DK: $6,100 | FD: $8,000)
The Chargers' offensive line took another hit when stud tackle Joe Alt got hurt in Week 4 — and LA took an ugly loss against the Giants in New York — but let's not forget that Herbert looked like an MVP candidate through three weeks.
Facing the Commanders at home is a lot different than visiting the Giants' front-seven in the Meadowlands. Washington has surrendered the eight-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season, so we like Herbert's chances to bounce back quickly.
Justin Fields, Jets vs. Cowboys (DK: $5,600 | FD: $7,700)
The Justin Fields era in New York has been, well, bumpy — but we don't care about the Jets winning or losing. All we care about is points, and Fields scored 28 of those last week against Miami and 29.5 of them in Week 1 vs. Pittsburgh.
Speaking of points, Dallas has given up the most fantasy points in the NFL to QBs this season. Jordan Love amassed 365 total yards and three passing touchdowns against the Cowboys last Sunday night! Call it a 'Fields of Dreams' play — if you draft him, he will score.
Other QBs whose Week 5 values exceed their price tags:
- Dak Prescott, Cowboys at Jets (DK: $6,000 | FD: $7,300)
- Daniel Jones, Colts vs. Raiders (DK: $5,800 | FD: $7,400)
- Jaxson Dart, Giants at Saints (DK: $5,300 | FD: $6,900)
- C.J. Stroud, Texans at Ravens (DK: $5,200 | FD: $6,700)
Best NFL DFS sleepers for Week 5: Running back
Cam Skattebo, Giants at Saints (DK: $6,000 | FD: $6,200)
Skattebo isn't a sleeper at this point, especially after Tyrone Tracy got hurt and the rookie put up 13-plus PPR points in a third straight game. He is, however, a value pick — $6,000 feels like a steal.
The Saints have surrendered an average of 25.3 PPR points per game this season, and only the Titans have allowed more RB touchdowns. Trust in the Skat-back this weekend.
Woody Marks, Texans at Ravens (DK: $5,400 | FD: $5,400)
We're getting the same price on Marks on both DK and FD, and both feel like bargains. The rookie exploded for 27.9 PPR points against the Titans last weekend, and now he has a chance for an encore performance against a surprisingly poor Ravens D.
Don't worry too much about Nick Chubb. Marks clearly has the sauce, so to speak, and he should get more opportunities than the veteran as he's faster and better at making catches out of the backfield. Game script favors the youngster in this one — even without Lamar Jackson, Baltimore will be gunning for a win.
More strong Week 5 RB values:
- Alvin Kamara, Saints vs. Giants (DK: $5,900 | FD: $7,300)
- Chuba Hubbard, Panthers vs. Dolphins (DK: $5,800 | FD: $6,400)
- Trey Benson, Cardinals vs, Titans (DK: $5,700 | FD: $6,800)
- Breece Hall, Jets vs. Cowboys (DK: $5,600 | FD: $7,000)
- Tony Pollard, Titans at Cardinals (DK: $5,400 | FD: $6,000)
- David Montgomery, Lions at Bengals (DK: $5,200 | FD: $6,300)

Best NFL DFS sleepers for Week 5: Wide receiver
Courtland Sutton, Broncos at Eagles (DK: $6,000 | FD: $7,400)
Sutton has scored 45.9 PPR points over Denver's past two games, and he's now posted 18-plus points in three of the first four weeks of the season. In a game that should feature plenty of offense, go with the Broncos' No. 1 target and don't look back.
Quentin Johnston, Chargers vs. Commanders (DK: $5,700 | FD: $7,500)
We're riding this QJ 'til the wheels fall off, baby! Johnston has enjoyed a blisteringly hot start to the season, averaging 19.9 PPR points per game through the first month.
He's providing everything you could possibly want from a wideout, racking up targets (23 over the past two weeks), scoring touchdowns (4 on the season) and amassing a ton of yards (93.5 per game since Week 3). Stack him with Herbert without hesitation.
Marvin Harrison Jr., Cardinals vs. Titans (DK: $5,400 | FD: $6,600)
Harrison had a bad case of the yips in Weeks 2 and 3, but it all seemed to dissipate after he made a highlight-reel touchdown catch in Week 4. He finished the Cards' 23-20 loss with 18.6 DK points and a much-needed self-esteem reset.
Now the second-year wideout draws a porous Tennessee defense and a set of DFS price tags that might be the last discount deal we get on him in a while. The Titans have given up 39.2 PPR points per game to wide receivers through four weeks. Trust the talent!
More strong Week 5 DFS values at WR:
- Keenan Allen, Chargers vs. Commanders (DK: $5,600 | FD: $6,500)
- Jakobi Meyers, Raiders at Colts (DK: $5,600 | FD: $6,000)
- Jaylen Waddle, Dolphins at Panthers (DK: $5,400 | FD: $5,800)
- Wan'Dale Robinson, Giants at Saints (DK: $5,300 | FD: $6,100)
- Chris Olave, Saints vs. Giants (DK: $5,200 | FD: $6,100)
- Michael Pittman Jr., Colts vs. Raiders (DK: $5,100 | FD: $5,900)
Best NFL DFS sleepers for Week 5: Tight end
Juwan Johnson, Saints vs. Giants (DK: $3,900 | FD: $5,300)
Johnson finally had a disappointing game, scoring just 5.8 PPR points against Buffalo in Week 4. But don't let that performance lull you to sleep — he had 29 targets in Weeks 1-3, and he scored 42.6 PPR points during that span. Spencer Rattler will be looking his way early and often with the Giants' pass-rush harassing him.
More Week 5 TEs worth a look:
- Dalton Schultz, Texans at Ravens (DK: $3,600 | FD: $4,900)
- Darren Waller, Dolphins at Panthers (DK: $3,500 | FD: $5,200)
- Cade Otton, Buccaneers at Seahawks (DK: $3,300 | FD: $4,800)

Best NFL DFS sleepers for Week 5: D/ST
Seattle Seahawks vs. Buccaneers (DK: $2,800 | FD: $3,700)
This might seem like a risky play because Baker Mayfield has been cooking this season, but Seattle's defense has been firing on all cylinders as well. Their total DK production the past three weeks: 41 points!
That three-week run includes five interceptions, so don't be surprised if the Seahawks make life difficult for Mayfield with Mike Evans and Bucky Irving both banged up.
More sleeper D/ST plays for Week 5:
- Houston Texans at Ravens (DK: $2,400 | FD: $3,600)
- New York Giants at Saints (DK: $2,900 | FD: $3,500)
