The Falcons head to Santa Clara to take on the 49ers in the Week 7 edition of Sunday Night Football. It's a star-studded game for fantasy football and DFS enthusiasts, and we can't wait to assemble our Showdown and single-game lineups.
Both these squads have early Offensive Player of the Year candidates. The 49ers have enjoyed fantastic consistency from Christian McCaffrey all year, while the Falcons have been largely carried by fellow running back Bijan Robinson.
We're also starting to see shades of the Drake London we saw late in 2024, as the young wide receiver has gone bananas the past two games. Veteran Niners wideout Kendrick Bourne has looked good, too, and All-Pro tight end George Kittle has been designated to return for San Francisco.
FANTASY TIPS FOR WEEK 7: Week 7 Rankings | Week 7 Start-Sit | Week 7 Sleepers | Week 7 Busts
This sure feels like a must-see TV matchup, and most GPP tournament enthusiasts will be constructing lineups for this one. Our job: to help shine a light on the best DFS studs, sleepers and value plays for both DraftKings Showdown and FanDuel single-game tournaments.
Let's get to it. Here's our favorite fantasy picks and optimal lineups for 49ers vs. Falcons on Sunday Night Football.

Before we get into our lineup and strategy, here are the key scoring settings for DraftKings Showdown contests:
They're full-point PPR, and they feature three-point bonuses for 300 passing yards, 100 rushing yards, and 100 receiving yards. The Captain pick costs 1.5 times a player's original price, but he also gets his point total multiplied by 1.5.
POS | Player | TEAM/OPP | SALARY |
Captain | Bijan Robinson, RB | Falcons @ SF | $18,300 |
FLEX | Christian McCaffrey, RB | 49ers vs. ATL | $12,000 |
FLEX | Drake London, WR | Falcons @ SF | $10,200 |
FLEX | Tyler Allgeier, RB | Falcons @ SF | $5,200 |
FLEX | Demarcus Robinson, WR | 49ers vs. ATL | $3,400 |
FLEX | Luke Farrell, TE | 49ers vs. ATL | $600 |
Captain: Bijan Robinson, RB, Falcons ($18,300)
The winning DFS entry this Sunday night will more than likely feature Robinson in the Captain's spot. He has put up 69.9 DK points over Atlanta's past two games.
Beyond that, the 49ers have been below average against running backs in fantasy this season. This is as easy a choice as trick-or-treating in the neighborhood that has King-sized candy bars on Halloween.
FLEX 1: Christian McCaffrey, RB, 49ers ($12,000)
When healthy, CMC remains the most consistent fantasy star in the sport. He has posted at least 22.7 PPR points in all six of San Francisco's games this season, and he's averaging over 26 over the past three weeks. He's a must-draft for SNF.
FLEX 2: Drake London, WR, Falcons ($10,200)
London has been hotter than fish grease of late, putting up 28 DK points in Week 4 vs. Washington and then 34.8 points against Buffalo after Atlanta's bye. The young wideout will likely cool down a bit in Santa Clara, but we can't imagine passing on a guy averaging 85.4 yards per game at $10,200.
FLEX 3: Tyler Allgeier, Falcons ($5,200)
Given the names left, let's make room for this bargain buy. Even as Bijan's "backup," Allgeier continues to carve out his own role, having piled up 10.8 fantasy points in Week 6 and 11.1 in Week 4. Monopolize the Falcons' elite ground attack for a useful ROI.
FLEX 4: Demarcus Robinson, WR, 49ers ($3,400)
George Kittle's impending return could actually be a good thing for Robinson, a reliable veteran who sometimes gets lost by opposing secondaries. Brandon Aiyuk remains out for the Niners, and the Falcons corners will likely be spending a lot of attention on 2025 breakout Kendrick Bourne. Here's hoping DMC bags us a touchdown.
FLEX 5: Luke Farrell, TE, 49ers ($600)
Okay, we admit it — it's a stars-and-scrubs lineup. Or, as we like to call it, stars-and-sleepers. Farrell has caught plenty of surprise TDs throughout his career, so we're crossing our fingers that we can land one of those this Sunday night and take home a big prize.

Here are the key scoring settings for FanDuel single-game tournaments: They're half-point PPR with three-point bonuses for 300 passing yards, 100 rushing yards, or 100 receiving yards.
The MVP pick multiplies that player's total by 1.5 and, for the first time, the MVP pick also costs 1.5 times that player's salary.
POS | Player | TEAM/OPP | SALARY |
MVP | Bijan Robinson, RB | Falcons @ SF | $20,100 |
FLEX | Christian McCaffrey, RB | 49ers vs. ATL | $13,200 |
FLEX | Drake London, WR | Falcons @ SF | $12,000 |
FLEX | Eddy Pineiro, K | 49ers vs. ATL | $7,000 |
FLEX | Kyle Pitts Sr., TE | Falcons @ SF | $5,800 |
FLEX | Isaac Guerendo, RB | 49ers vs. ATL | $1,000 |
Upside and balance, upside and balanace. We have Bijan in our MVP seat, just like he occupied our Captain's spot in DK. We also have CMC and London, guys we consider must-haves in this game.
From there, we took a different strategy.
Pineiro yields plenty of value at $7,000, as he's been money all year and he delivers from 50 yards out when Mac Jones and/or Brock Purdy stall out.
Pitts has enjoyed a much-needed career resurgence with Penix under center, and his volume and efficiency make for a strong $5,800 play in what should be a pass-happy Falcons approach.
Lastly, Guerendo serves as our McCaffrey handcuff. If CMC plays the whole game, Guerendo will probably score 0.0 points. If CMC gets hurt — as he's been known to do over the years — Guerendo could win us the week. It's a good risk vs. reward play at $1,000.
