Daily Fantasy Baseball Rankings: Pitchers for Monday, April 10

It's a light Monday around the league, with 10 games, including five afternoon games, on the MLB schedule. Fortunately, there are a handful of legit aces set to take the hill, which always makes things more interesting in daily fantasy baseball contests. Getting an ace is always a good strategy when playing DFS, but if you hit on someone lower in the rankings when everyone else pays up for stud pitcher who struggles or doesn't get a win, you could really be ahead of the game. 

Among today's four aces (we're not putting Tanner Roark in that category yet, but he's not that far off), Justin Verlander is the most interesting. Some people are going to be scared off his opponent, but the Red Sox are without Hanley Ramirez (flu), Xander Bogaerts (bereavement related), and Jackie Bradley Jr. (knee). Boston still has a couple big bats, but there are a bunch of holes in its lineup on Monday.

Among the lower-ranked players, Charlie Morton, who had a dominant spring and good first start, is a seemingly "safe-ish" starter up in Seattle, while guys like Tyler Glasnow (vs. CIN), Taijuan Walker (at SF), and Michael Pineda (vs. TB) are your classic "boom-or-bust" options. Brandon Finnegan (at PIT), who was lights out in his first start, will undoubtedly be a popular pick, but like Glasnow, Walker, and Pineda, could easily run up a high pitch count due to poor command.
