Daily Fantasy Baseball Rankings: Pitchers for Wednesday, April 5

Even with the Tigers-White Sox game already postponed (Update: And the Cubs-Cardinals), Wednesday features the most pitching options we've seen all season to choose from when putting together daily fantasy baseball lineups. With only a handful of "aces" on the hill, the best DFS strategy might be to pay up for a stud, but either way, we're here to help by ranking all 28 26 SPs.

There are two is one afternoon games (Royals-Twins, Cubs-Cardinals) and three late games (Giants-Diamondbacks, Angels-A's, Padres-Dodgers), so keep that in mind when looking at the rankings. The pitcher you want might not be the best pick for the specific contest you want to enter.

If you're playing in a standard fantasy league and can make same-day pickups, there are plenty of interesting streaming options available today, including Charlie Morton, who is coming off a dominant spring (1.04/0.92, 17 Ks in 17.1 innings) and Jharel Cotton, who struck out 21 batters in 20.2 spring innings. The "streaming line" probably cuts off with No. 21 Tyler Chatwood, with the possible exception of Brandon Finnegan. We're not as high on him in standard leagues or DFS because he often runs up high pitch counts and struggled in the spring (7.63/2.09), but his matchup is good and he'll certainly be a differentiator in big contests.
