The worst part of a fantasy football decision like this is there's no way to know for sure.

The Carolina Panthers have recent star RB Rico Dowdle now going up against returned-starter Chuba Hubbard in Week 7 vs. the Jets.

The Panthers haven't really given anything away. There's no great way to make up your mind on your fantasy lineup.

Some people might even have both backs, given Dowdle would've been a logical replacement when Hubbard went down.

This is the best we can figure on the situation.

Should I start Rico Dowdle in fantasy Week 7?

Our advice is yes, start Rico Dowdle in fantasy Week 7.

There's no way the Panthers can go too far away from him after consecutive weeks with more than 200 yards from scrimmage.

Even a 50% workload could turn into a nice day for Dowdle if he maintains his current form. And there's a decent chance he gets more than half the work.

Should I start Chuba Hubbard in fantasy Week 7?

You should probably sit Chuba Hubbard this week.

He's coming off a calf injury, which could get re-injured.

He's also got to break through past Dowdle after two giant weeks, and the Panthers won't need to rush Hubbard since they know Dowdle is going well.

Hubbard could regain a lot of his role eventually. But in Week 7, he's much too big a risk for fantasy starting lineups.
