The darts world has been controlled by a teenager over the last 18+ months, and it might continue to be that way for some time.
Luke Littler is back in action this weekend, just a week after grabbing another PDC title.
2025 Czech Darts Open predictions
It's been a busy year for Littler, but the past couple of months have displayed how brilliant he is.
After starting the year with his maiden PDC WC title, he quickly followed it up with another major title, winning the UK Open title earlier this year.
After that, there was a bit of a dull period for Littler, where he almost struggled to meet the incredible standard he set for himself.
MORE: When does Luke Littler play on Day 2 of the 2025 Czech Darts Open?
That all changed in July, when Littler won his first World Matchplay title, completing the 'Triple Crown.'
Since then, he's won the New Zealand Darts Masters and the Australian Darts Masters on the World Series of Darts circuit.
Last weekend, he took home another Euro Tour event title, winning the Flanders Darts Trophy.
The expectation coming into this weekend is that he should be in the running to add another Euro Tour event title to his collection, but he'll have some competition in his way, looking to give their best shot at taking down a phenom.
MORE: Who is playing at the 2025 Czech Darts Open?
Nathan Aspinall is back after a long break. He's unseeded, meaning he'll have to play in the first round on Friday, something we haven't seen in a while.
Aspinall has the skillset to make a run, but it will require a gritty effort if he wants to make it to Sunday and into the night session.
Josh Rock was on the verge of taking down Littler in their final last week, and will once again look to make noise on the Pro Tour this weekend.
Michael van Gerwen had an early exit last week and might face the same scenario, playing either Mike De Decker or Ritchie Edhouse on Saturday. Both potential opponents were major winners in 2024, and MVG will face a tough task amid personal struggles on and off the oche over the past few months.

If Stephen Bunting can take care of business, he should expect at least a quarterfinal round appearance with the way the draw turned out for him.
Several other players should be looked at this weekend, including Luke Humphries, Gerwyn Price and Dave Chisnall.
Some unseeded/under the radar players that could go on runs include Wessel Nijman, Niko Springer and Dirk van Duijvenbode with how the bracket is set.
