The 2025 Street League Skateboarding (SLS) Championship Tour kicked off in thrilling fashion at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida, on May 5.
Reigning champions Nyjah Huston (USA) and Rayssa Leal (BRA) dominated their respective men’s and women’s competitions, solidifying their spots as top contenders for the 2025 Super Crown World Championship in São Paulo, Brazil, this December.
The men’s final in Miami, widely regarded as one of the best in SLS history, featured a dramatic battle between Huston and Portugal’s Gustavo Ribeiro. After Ribeiro posted an impressive 9.5-scoring 360 Flip Noseblunt 270 Shuv Out, he briefly took the lead with 36.7 points.
