Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell had himself a heck of a Game 3 on Friday night, helping his team cut down the Indiana Pacers' series lead to 2-1.

The Cavs desperately needed a win to avoid sinking into the unrecoverable 3-0 hole no team in NBA history has ever been able to get out of, and Mitchell pulled out all of the stops with a 43 point performance on 14-of-29 shooting that included nine rebounds and five assists. This also included shooting a stellar 48 percent from the floor, and 38 percent from the three-point line. Aside from the win, Mitchell's 40-plus point performance game him the distinct honor of being the second Cavaliers player in history to deliver back-to-back 40-plus point games.

The first person to do it? Why none other than LeBron James, who had back-to-back 40-plus points in Games 5 and 6 during the Cavs 2016 NBA Finals matchup against the Golden State Warriors, where he scored 41 points each. The Cavaliers would go on to win that series, giving them a historic 3-1 comeback.

And in case you were wonder what shoes he was wearing for the game, Mitchell sported his very own adidas D.O.N. Issue #7 "Spida Elite Camp" sneakers, which includes a zippered shroud that secures the textile upper, which itself consists of a blend of Hi-Res Yellow, Lucid Pink and black. Additionally, there's the signature adidas three-stripes branding along the side panel, with Mitchell's personal logo incorporated into the tongue.

Per GOAT, the "Spida Elite Camp" shoes are set for a July 15 release.
