Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown is celebrating his offseason birthday with a trip to Europe, but the getaway isn't just about the NFL star turning a year older.
Brown is also reflecting on his incredible journey from his small-town beginnings in Mississippi to the stardom he has achieved in the NFL.
On Monday, the 28-year-old Philadelphia Eagles star shared a glimpse into his European vacation with fiancée Kelsey Riley, whom he proposed to last month, in a heartfelt message on social media.
"Who knew continent-hopping would be a thing for a little boy who grew up in Starkville, Mississippi, and technically I get to celebrate my birthday for 3 days straight," he wrote on the June 30 Instagram post. "Grateful for the growth, the grace, and the grind. Blessed to see another year."
The NFL player included a carousel of photos recapping the vacation, including one selfie of himself dressed in a striped shirt and shorts paired with a red baseball cap, standing in front of a historic castle.
Another photo showcased Brown carrying a bag of new purchases during a shopping trip. He also shared a snap of four silver and gold luxury watches spread out on a table.
Several NFL fans took to the comments section to praise the Eagles star on his special day.
