Controversial Olympic champion Eileen Gu took to social media for a big announcement — and she looked stunning in short shorts and knee-high leather boots.
“🌟 this next chapter is going to be fun,” she captioned the Tuesday, November 11 share to Instagram.
The professional freestyle skier (big air, halfpipe and slopestyle) made headlines when the American-born athlete decided to compete for her mom’s home country of China. At just 18, she won the gold medal in big air and halfpipe (and silver in slopestyle) at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, making her the youngest Olympic freestyle champion ever. She is expected to compete at the next Winter Games despite a major spill in August.

“YESSSS BIG MOVES ONLY,” wrote one commenter.
“The power of role models!” Raved another. “You are always so wonderful.”
“No one should be this good looking and TALENTED,” added a third. “Amazing young lady out there crushing it!!!”
“There’s something magnetic about your energy in every photo,” said a fourth. “Every outfit, every pose — pure perfection.”
Gu was born in raised in San Francisco, but speaks fluent Mandarin because of her Chinese immigrant mother and grandmother — the family she lived with growing up.
