Patriots fans joke Drake Maye’s wife is giving them what Tom Brady’s ex-wife ‘never’ did image

Tom Brady gave New England six rings, three MVPs, and two decades of football that basically rewired the league. During that run, his then-wife Gisele Bündchen became the unofficial “first lady” of Patriots Nation.

Now there’s a new franchise quarterback in town, and the internet has decided the crown has been passed. Drake Maye is leading the next era, and his wife, Ann Michael Maye, has already become the successor appointed by the masses. Her latest TikTok even has some fans teasing that she’s giving them something Brady’s ex-wife never did.

On Monday, December 1, Ann posted a short clip that showed her walking through the Maye living room — tree up, lights on, stockings hung. “It’s officially the best time of the year😆🎄❤️,” she wrote in the caption. The text overlay on the video read: “When you wake up on December 1st in Christmas PJs, the house is decorated, AND it’s gameday🥰❤️.”

While plenty of commenters were busy reminding Ann to keep “our husband” rested, fed, and emotionally supported before kickoff against the Giants, a whole different wave of fans used the moment to poke fun at Bündchen.

“Gisele never showed us her Christmas pajamas," one person wrote.

“Gisele never wished us a Merry Christmas," teased another.

“Gisele was too busy with Jiu Jitsu to decorate the house for us," chimed in a third.

"Gisele never let us in the house," someone else added.

“Gisele never showed us Christmas decorations before gameday,” another said.

Of course, all of these comments are in good fun — longtime fans know Bündchen was a pretty big presence throughout Brady’s Patriots tenure from 2000 to 2019. She attended playoff games and Super Bowls, was regularly photographed supporting the NFL star, spoke publicly about him, and was widely associated with the team during their historic stretch.

Since their 2022 divorce, the 45-year-old supermodel has kept a lower profile in New England circles. She’s spent the last couple of years co-parenting with Brady, 48, while releasing her 2024 cookbook Nourish. The retired athlete, meanwhile, is working as Fox’s lead NFL analyst and staying busy with various business and ownership ventures.

As for Drake, he’s in the middle of a breakout sophomore season and sits at the center of New England’s 10–2 start. The 23-year-old quarterback has thrown for more than 3,100 yards through 12 games and has quickly become the face of the Patriots’ post-Brady chapter.
