Kelly Stafford isn't afraid to admit that she's had a “mommy makeover.” After having four daughters, she’s getting candid about her plastic surgery experience.
On Monday, May 26, Stafford—who’s married to Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford—brought on a special guest to her podcast, The Morning After.
Her plastic surgeon, Dr. Garth Fisher, sat down with Stafford to discuss some of her past operations.
“I had my boobs redone, and you also did the tummy tuck,” Satfford said. “And you put back together my ass.”
While the surgeries made her feel “very confident,” she admitted she didn’t fully understand the procedures at first.
“A lot of people who live in California know what a tummy tuck is, but when I heard the term, I thought, ‘That’s liposuction, right?’” she explained. “I was thinking fat removal, then skin, and I remember thinking, ‘Oh man, okay.’”
During the sit down, Stafford also hinted that their family is likely complete. “You don’t want to go in and get a tummy tuck, get rid of the skin, and then get pregnant again,” she said. “Because that’s kind of a waste.”
Though she was honest about the types of surgeries she’s had, Stafford didn’t reveal when she had them done. However, she shared her thoughts on timing, arguing, “You want to do it when you still have that urge to feel sexy.”
“I’m not saying 18 years from now I might not want to do it again,” she added, “but as you get older, it just gets tougher.”
With four kids and a busy family life, Stafford's focus has naturally shifted over the years.
She and Matthew first met at the University of Georgia and tied the knot in April 2015. The couple are parents to twins Sawyer and Chandler, 8, Hunter, 6 and Tyler, 4.
