With just a handful of matches left, Nebraska volleyball is getting dangerously close to pulling off an undefeated regular season — but the Huskers will have to get through UCLA first.
UCLA has had a pretty average season, going 14-10 and sitting eighth in the Big Ten. Despite being nationally unranked, the Bruins have notched some exciting wins, like their five-set victory over Northwestern last week. Outside Cheridyn Leverette delivered the final blow of the tiebreaker set, which went into extra points and ended 18-16.
The No. 1-ranked Huskers continued their rampage of sweeps with yet another shutout over No. 20 Minnesota on Saturday. The Big Red hit.434 as a team for their 15th straight performance over.300, with Andi Jackson tallying a season-high 15 kills.
