The 2025 college volleyball season continues this week with a top-10 matchup between No. 5 Penn State and No. 4 Kentucky.
The Nittany Lions dropped three spots in national rankings following a tough five-set loss to No. 24 TCU on Monday. Despite an outstanding 21-kill performance from junior Kennedy Martin, the Horned Frogs had solid momentum out of the gate and were able to seal the win.
On the other hand, Kentucky jumped up three spots from No. 7 last week with a near loss to top-ranked Nebraska. The Wildcats hit .230 in both opening sets, but the Huskers didn't back down and were able to pull off an impressive reverse sweep.
