Some of the best wrestlers in the country will travel to Rutgers University on Saturday for the latest edition of the NWCA All-Star Classic.
Ten highly ranked Division I folk-style matchups will take place at the event. Along with a D2 vs. D3 matchup, there will be cross-divisional women’s freestyle matches.
For over 50 years, the NWCA All-Star Classic has crowned the best within its weight class, from 125 to 285. Past winners include Brock Lesnar, Jake Varner, Phil Davis, Johny Hendricks, Jake Herbert, and Jake Percival.
This year, the likes of Lucas Byrd (Illinois), Jesse Mendez (Ohio State), Jaxon Smith (Maryland), Sage Mortimer (Grand Valley State) and more will be competing. Who will earn the ultimate bragging rights?
