For many years, Nebraska has been a leading program, yet a national championship has been out of reach for The Huskers since 2017. With Harper Murray, Lexi Rodriguez, and Merritt Beason at the helm, the Huskers still nearly secured the national title last year, but were defeated by the eventual champions, Penn State, in the Final Four.
Lincoln is entering a new chapter with Dani Busboom-Kelly stepping in as head coach after John Cook's retirement. The former Husker player guided Louisville to the championship game in December before returning to her alma mater for the coaching position.
Even though Nebraska lost some key players to graduation, they've retained a formidable group. Murray will be returning for her junior year, joined by Setter Bergen Reilly and middle blocker Andi Jackson. You'll definitely want to catch every moment of their upcoming season.
